I want to invite you to come to Church next weekend.
After years of preparations, we are about to see a renaissance of our religion.
Several weeks ago, I had the opportunity to attend the Executive Director’s conference at Flag. It was the first time ever that all of the ED’s of the Church had met at the same time. We got a chance to see everything that will be released in the coming days but there was a catch. We couldn’t tell anybody about it.
My wife will tell you that I have a very hard time keeping secrets. Christmas is weird at our house because I usually give away gifts as soon as I buy them. I just can’t keep secrets very well.
The last few weeks have been very hard for me!
It’s the last day of school
Remember the feeling when the bell finally rang? “FREEEDOOMMMM!!!”
All the possibilities of the summer months stretched before us. Whatever came before, we knew that the future would be different – bright and full of hope.
I’ve been a staff member of the Church for 22 years. I’ve been your Executive Director for 15 of those years.
Whatever your experience has been before now in Scientology, it’s about to change drastically for the better.
As Scientologists, we all have goals we want to achieve:
- We want to help others personally.
- We want to regain knowledge of our true selves – we want to go Clear and OT.
- We want to help save the planet from the effects of the reactive mind – war, crime and insanity.
- And… we are an impatient bunch – we want it now!
After seeing the scope of the upcoming releases, I can tell you that if any of these goals seemed out of reach before, they will now be within our grasp. THIS is the last day of school!
L. Ron Hubbard’s vision for Scientology achieved.
In my opinion, the most appealing thing about the vision of Scientology is that it is designed to help a normal person achieve spiritual freedom within one lifetime. A Scientologist isn’t required to stop living life and become a monk to go free – although this might be reasonably expected and has precedent in the Eastern religious practices.
L. Ron Hubbard wanted Scientology to be accessible to anyone who walked in the doors and who wanted to go Clear.
For various reasons, both economical and technical, this hasn’t always been possible for everyone. However, after this weekend, it will be.
Can I have your help?
I’d like to ask you to spend next weekend at the Church. I don’t yet know the precise times of the events. I know that there will be an event Friday night, and that most likely, there will be at least one event on Saturday. Knowing that it took 8 days to brief all of the EDs about the releases, I’m not sure how it’ll all be crammed into one weekend.
There will be plenty to do in between events. I would recommend allowing a few hours just to look through everything for yourself. The staff will be available to answer your questions and we’ll also be able to visit with you to discuss your Bridge progress.
Based on the number of people who have already confirmed to come, this will be the largest local gathering of Scientologists in 20 years, so you’ll also want some time to talk with your friends.
Finally, I’m asking you to set aside some time this week to help me reach out to every Scientologist in the field. You undoubtedly know how to contact “old-time” Scientologists that aren’t on my radar. I’d really appreciate it if you could contact them and let them know a little bit about what’s happening and invite them to come to the Church next weekend.
Thank you for being a parishioner of my Church. You’ve got your war stories and I’ve got mine. Within a few days, we’ll both know that the battles were worth it. I’m honored to be able to serve you as your Executive Director.
Feel free to email me if you have a question or need any help.
